Experience
Simply put, I have a knack for taking sometimes difficult to understand concepts and putting them into easily understandable terms - and enjoy doing so. Started tutoring second grade students on computers when 10-years old. I'm frequently encouraged to become a teacher by family, friends, and even strangers usually after illustrating how supply/demand curves shift when helping my high school daughter understand population growth/suitable farmland dynamics, explaining how to use Photoshop to a colleague, or explaining how a "negative interest coverage ratio" could occur while hanging out in an investment website chat room.

Hobbies
I won't charge you *anything* after the first hour if I can't help you in the area you need tutoring or you just don't think we are a good match. I'm not sure how many other tutors make a 100% money back guarantee, but if they don't they should. Tutoring can be a deeply personal experience and if two people don't "click," it rarely ends well for either party. I'm not interested in nor do I financially need to try to earn a quick buck. I tutor because I enjoy sharing knowledge in areas I possess expertise and this is one of the only ways to pay back the people who were extremely patient with me as I journeyed through the educational process.
