I'm a huge outdoors person, and I spent most of my undergraduate time studying outside (when the Pittsburgh weather allowed it). I'm also an avid movie buff, concert goer, and book connoisseur. I find that pop culture/music are the best pneumonic devices, so I try really hard to make the material relevant to the student's interests.
